bamboo weaving workshop

Laure JULIEN will share with you her unique craft brought back from Japan: traditional bamboo basketry. A journey to the heart of a very rare skill never seen before in Europe.

Laure will guide you through the creation of a small two-tone French bamboo basket. This traditional Japanese basket is a sikainami (四海波), which means four ocean waves in Japanese.

An initiation for all enthusiasts and bamboo curious. (beginner level).
